Floating Row Covers

The earlier you plant, the earlier you pick! Floating row covers allow earlier planting and growth by capturing the heat of the sunlight and retaining it at night. By conserving moisture, keeping insects away and bringing soil temperature up, row covers promote higher yields. This spun bonded polypropylene protects plants from the harsh winds while allowing ventilation of excessive heat on sunny days. Row covers should be removed when temperatures are consistently warm and can be used as winter covering for strawberries in place of straw if used properly.
